I believe it was Tuesday that we went to get a tour of Parliament. I was stunned by the amount of security that they had, I felt like I was flying off to Israel ! The tour was nice, I was feeling a little sick so I wasn't as interested as I could have been. The interior was quite astonishing, carved wood and gold everything. We say the House of Lords as well as the House of Commons although nothing was in session so I was unable to see those powdered wigs and long coats. That would have been a trip to see. Our tour guide Ian was very funny and made the tour interesting since I usually am not one to understand politics or anything related to it and I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to comprehend the who parliamentary system. Yay me.
