citygirl

In the darkness of a new beginning, the lights of city only calm my spirit.
Each day a journey, ending in a growth of my own.
Only fear could ruin such a sweet victory, and I know now I can overcome.

Always trying to grow-here and now, I can finally say I am.

[going to the Nate Berkus show taping tomorrow then work and a lovely holiday dinner with the best sister ever and good friends]

another year

For me, the firefly's quick, electric stroke
Ticks tediously the time of one more year.
And you? [W.S]

First Day!

The start of my 6-month Internship at Lonny!

Hard to believe that I am currently in NYC, living in my own studio loft in Chelsea, and starting to intern today at my most beloved design magazine. It all seems surreal right now.

Looking forward to learning so much from Lonny and growing in my designs abilities as well as personal growth and maturity.

What an opportunity!

I know I have been lax in posting pictures from Ireland, I will very soon, once my first day begins and I have some down time.

much love.

back to Austria

Nostalgia of Austria...

Anna and I riding our Elephant.

Such love with a penguin.

close up snapshot of the Holocaust Memorial in the city.

The Empress's green house at the zoo

well, at least it's a picture of the both us...kind of.

Nostalgia of my long weekend in Vienna brings me to post the very few and to be honest very poor pictures that I have from my trip. Like I mentioned before, I had so much fun being with my friend that I forgot all about the little black camera in my bag.

I must return to capture the gorgeous moments of the city.

My friend lives in the first district of Vienna, the center circle, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The weather was pure delight and so we spent all our time outside.
On Sunday we lay out by the pool right on the Wien river ... such peacefulness.
Monday we went to the Zoo! One of the most famous zoos in the world, we even got to see the Pandas! If I only I could have taken one home.

Vienna...I will return.

so much has past...

I can hardly believe that my 3 month summer in London has passed me by.

My posts have been sparse the past few weeks, this can be explained by many a test, paper and presentations for my only 2 classes.

I think 3 months was the perfect amount to be away, although perhaps I could have stayed longer. I still did not feel quite like I lived in London, more like a very experienced traveler.

I have to admit that my favorite pastime was the traveling I did from London, the cultures abroad that I got to see and learning just how much I need to explore more and now my travel bug has gotten worse and I desire to see much much more.

Luckily for me, my traveling is still not over. Currently I am in Ireland and have been here for a few days. I was in the West in Galway and Connemara and now in Dublin.

I have been so busy, I forgot to even that 2 weekends ago I was in Vienna, Austria visiting one of my dearest friends who lives there. I had such an incredible time being with her that I just about forgot to take any pictures. Not very like me, so I guess I will have to return and take some. Vienna was such a lovely city and I really had the most fun being with such wonderful company! Definitely what I needed right before my finals.

And so the end is so near of my time in Europe and it feels as if no time has past...

Yet so much has occurred and I am forever changed.
