CamdenTown

Today after class a few us took a little treck to Camden town. Camden is most popular for the rise of punk culture and that influence is definitely still present there currently. Everything was pretty grunge with tattoo and piercing parlours everywhere as well as some very odd shoppes. I opted not to take pictures of them since they really are not my style but you can use your imagine. I did take pictures of that which interests me. That being Pineapples, Coconuts and Art.

Well of course I bought another Pina Colada [if you have not yet read my post on Brick Lane on Sunday I suggest you read that post first then return] and I saw a girl walking with one today and I said, I will follow where she came from and so I back traced her steps and ended up in a little food market and of course I immediately spotted my pineapple man [a different one] but I treat them all as one! All giving me some delicious nectar that I savor and appreciate so much. All of my friends questioned me buying another one and yes I spent 5 pounds on it but to me that is worth it! It brought me back to the sunshine and the seas and the sand within my feet and I figured I might as well be in the tropics for all I know!

Unfortunately we were in Camden on the weekday since there really is not much to do. I loved looking around for a bit but the stalls in the market got stale, they all sell the same exact thing and I question if they are really authentic at all...I heard the weekends are supposed to be amazing in Camden so maybe I have to give it another shot, or maybe not since I don't suppose I will be around anymore in London on the weekends...what a sad, sad thought.

Tonight's plans are to relax, I do not want to push myself to do too much yet but going out to eat sounds wonderful right about now...maybe I can rangle a few people to spend some $$$ but I believe nobody will.
